Have you tried booting the CD with "linux26" ? Can you boot with a live CD such as a Knoppix CD and then issue the following command: (lspci -n ; lspci) | sort Then send to [EMAIL PROTECTED] the result of this command, or at least copy the lines referencing your SATA chipset ? So you know if this hardware is supported by some other Linux distribution and, if so, by using which driver?
