Hi, Almost forgot to react to this.

I have been using this workaround, for a year or so, which makes mutt not crash: set strict_threads=yes I set that to "no" last week for testing and have not seen a crash. That was mostly on my laptop with Ubuntu that I use for work. On my home machine with Debian sarge I have not had mutt open very long the past week for testing this. But I did not get a crash there either. I do not mind this bug being closed as unreproducible. At least I have never been able to reproduce it myself (though I *did* see enough crashes). Also I did not get the feeling that someone else has been able to verifiably reproduce this. Tracebacks that I posted apparently also did not give good enough pointers. I no longer read the debian-user mailing list with mutt though, but via gmane. That has drastically reduced the amount of emails I get per day, so that could have helped in avoiding crashes. :) Thanks for looking into this again, -- Maurits van Rees | http://maurits.vanrees.org/ [NL] Work | http://zestsoftware.nl/ "I am trapped in a Klein Bottle and can't get in." -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
