First of all, can you reproduce the bug with current packages? If so, can you please provide a trace of the reproduction (copy of the shell output, running the commands, output from apt-get etc) and also a listing of the files in /etc/network and /etc/firestarter. If you could then provide the shell output from /etc/init.d/networking which generates the error you've mentioned, and also a copy of your /etc/network/interfaces file, please? Could you also just give me the output of running `apt-cache policy firestarter`, please? Regards,
