Package: apt-cacher Version: 1.5.3 Severity: important It seems that apt-cacher has problem fetching header files for locahost requests. Other PCs on the LAN run apt-get update with no problems at all, but when the server tries to update its package list, using something like:
deb http://localhost:port/debian unstable main it will time out. Strangly this only happens if there is more than one source specified, if there is only one single localhost source in /etc/apt/sources.list it works, if there are any other sources (doesn't matter if local or external) it fails to work. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages apt-cacher depends on: ii bzip2 1.0.3-6 high-quality block-sorting file co ii libwww-perl 5.805-1 WWW client/server library for Perl ii perl 5.8.8-7 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction apt-cacher recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
