Varun, this is rare and hard reproducible situation (this is a libsmbclient bug actually). To reproduce it you'll need to get the network configuration mismatch during the periodic network scan.
The network scan takes about 15 seconds (depends on network size) and it occure once in a 5 min by default. Basing on this estimation the bug may appear in 5% of cases only.
