Hi Neil, I help Thomas out from time to time with the gnucash bugs and I just wondered if you had tried the new gnucash version in Debian unstable, 2.0.5-1.
I've tried to reproduce your error from the bug report (and I'm in the same locale, en_GB) and it worked fine in 2.0.5-1. I was able to start a new file using the en_GB locale in gnucash without problems. Can you try again please? Please reply to the bug report.
