Package: kdeprint Version: 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-6 Severity: normal I changed my default printer in
Control Center > Peripherals > Printers But, it didn't change the default printer of the lp command. That is, when I printed things like $ lp mydoc.ps the job was still sent to a different printer. So, I had to change the default printer for the lp command by, say, $ lpoptions -d hp2700 (This command modifies ~/.cups/lpoptions .) Oh, and I use CUPS.
