It is not possible to use the version pst-map2dII in Debian in combination with
powerdot. calling "\usepackage{pst-map2dII}" will prevent the powerdot
presentation to compile, because of a bug with pst-key. Using the upstream
version of pst-geo from CTAN solves the problem.

error in your report. Don't forget to also include minimal examples of

If your example file isn't short or produces more than one page of
output (except when multiple pages are needed to show the problem),
