I moved my mp3 collection from an ext3 partition to one formatted with vfat so 
I can share those files between Windows and Linux.

Before the move the "Guns N' Roses - Greatest Hits" showed up as "Guns N' 
Roses/Greatest Hits" in the amarok collection. After moving the folder to the 
vfat drive, it became "Various Artists/Greatest Hits"...

Then I copied the folder to a ext3 drive, too and then all the songs showed up 
*twice* below "Guns N' Roses"... very strange to me.

That's what the ID3 tag looks like:
