Package: libode0c2
Version: 1:0.5-5
Severity: normal
Tags: experimental

I was updating python-pyode package which depends on libode. Due to
introduction of new function in libode 0.7 I had to assure that Depends
have >= 0.7-1 (via debian/shlibs.local).

Per Debian Library Packaging guide
http://www.netfort.gr.jp/~dancer/column/libpkg-guide/libpkg-guide.html#changesandeffectstable

!For example, when a new function symbol is introduced and existing
!symbols are not modified, it is a backward-compatible change. Old
!programs linked to the library will work with the new library. New
!programs compiled against the new library will not work with the old
!library, so this needs to be noted in the shared library dependency.
![11]  This is the case where one would use dh_makeshlibs -V option;
!adding a (>= VERSION) relationship. [12]

Sorry that I am filing bug report from non-experimental box ;-)
