Package: libnss-mdns Version: 0.9-0.1 Severity: critical Justification: breaks unrelated software
Hi, When /usr is not mounted and libnss-mdns is installed hostname lookups will fail because lib_mdns* is in /usr/lib instead of /lib. Apart from the more obvious things like nfs-mounting /usr, something like postfix can also fail as it just copies the nss modules from /lib into it's chroot.. Causing a broken setup for resolving, which in turn can cause mail bounces..
