I cannot see in this bug log when and why it was marked as done. Why? This bug is still present in mc 1:4.6.1-6, as shown by the attached .deb file. With either 'dpkg-deb -x' or F3 in mc, you can see /usr/share/test-directory, but it is hidden when using the deb extfs.

PS: I think 'normal' instead of 'minor' was the appropriate severity, as
set by the submitter, but I won't fight for this.
