Hi, This is a very popular bug and there have been a long discussion that can be read in [0].
In fact it's not a bug from TRAC, but its effect is really grave for that software. So if you don't have a solution, please consider warning users about this workaround (maybe in README.Debian): "This is a limitation of mod_python and its default setup (i.e. usage of multiple subinterpreteres) in presence of complex extensions. See this mail [1], which also explains the workaround (force use of the first interpreter), and MODPYTHON:77 [2]." -- from [0] [0] http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/3371 [1] http://www.modpython.org/pipermail/mod_python/2006-November/022543.html [2] http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MODPYTHON-77 thanks, -- Tiago Bortoletto Vaz 0xA504FECA - http://pgp.mit.edu http://tiagovaz.org "É preciso não ter medo, é preciso ter a coragem de dizer."
