Dear pdfinfo authors: If Encrypted: yes (print:no copy:no change:no addNotes:no) then why can one still read the file? And instead of saying "no", say allowed or not allowed, as we can't tell if you mean "no, that item is not encrypted" or "no, you can't print". And add commas between them. And there must be a missing "yes" item, or else how can we see part (or all?) of the file? Also say if it is user encrypted or owner encrypted or whatever. $ pdfinfo X0_01XINTRODUCTION.pdf Title: [0.01]INTRODUCTION.DOC Author: YTS Creator: pdfFactory Pro www.pdffactory.com Producer: pdfFactory Pro 2.53 (Windows XP Professional Chinese) CreationDate: Thu Oct 19 06:03:18 2006 Tagged: no Pages: 1 Encrypted: yes (print:no copy:no change:no addNotes:no) Page size: 595 x 842 pts (A4) File size: 30664 bytes Optimized: no PDF version: 1.4 $ pdftotext X0_01XINTRODUCTION.pdf /dev/stdout INTRODUCTION This volume complements my A History ...
