Hi, Herewith I confirm my camera was nicely recognized on my fresh installed Etch machine. After an upgrade (using either apt-get directly or Adept) it stopped working again. Following patterns apply, all fully reproducible:
1. camera is always recognized by USB (lsusb command); only in root-mode the camera details are shown. 2a. Digikam recognizes the camera in auto-detect mode; (on one PC) 2b. Digikam auto-detect does not detect the camera 3.
