I get two options for Bluefish, 'Bluefish' and 'Bluefish > Editor'. JFTR: Why do you need "Open with other application" here? Bluefish should be listed in "Open with" directly. If it is not, then it is the default application to handle this file type (check: Properties > Open with tab). > There should only be one entry and that should be 'Bluefish Editor' as > that is what Bluefish is known as in the Applications menu. This is because the list is extended with the whole Debian menu and there Bluefish has an entry too. I could change the name in Bluefish's Debian menu file to the same value as found in the .desktop file to avoid the second entry (seems to work for abiword). I will think about this. But the cause of this issue isn't Bluefish itself. Red http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=408894 for more information. So I reassigned your report.
