I have just noticed that two files in my apt-proxy cache are different,
but should they be the same size?

/var/cache/apt-proxy/debian/dists/etch/Release.gpg
189 2007-02-18 20:08

/var/cache/apt-proxy/debian/dists/testing/Release.gpg
378 2007-01-16 08:09

The download dates and times are different on another box running
apt-proxy, but the file sizes are identical. I have /etc/apt/sources.list
pointing to sarge on all boxes still running sarge, and etch on all boxes
running etch, none point to testing at the moment. Aptitude running on all
of the sarge boxes is happy to use the apt-proxy but the etch boxes complain
about Release.gpg and give a red warning about an untrusted source when
trying to install updated packages.
