I just wanted to add to this bug to say that I'm having the same problem. (and still am with the latest package from sarge) >From playing around with it, I find this ONLY occurs on virtual folders. Plus, if I go to the actual folder that the virtual folders are based on and delete messages, it works just fine. The delay only appears when deleting the message from the virtual folder. My suspicion would be that it has something to do with the virtual folder having to re-render the entire message list with every delete. In my case, I literally keep thousands of messages in the one folder with all my admin mail, which I then segregate by topics. The bigger the base folder gets, the slower and slower and slower the re-renders get. I concur with the original report, though. This problem did NOT exist in my 1.4 installation. I also have a strange sense of deja vu like I may have reported this once before under another ticket, but I can't find that ticket now so maybe I just meant to and never got around to it.
