Package: unison-gtk Version: 2.13.16-5 Severity: normal I installed unison-gtk on a couple Ubuntu machines and it works quite well for synchronizing files with our SunOS server. However when unison is run on the server to synchronize files with one of the Ubuntu machines, it complains:
unison: command not found I solved this problem with the following command, which I copied from the unison-gtk postinst script and modified: update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/unison unison /usr/bin/unison-latest-stable-gtk 20 Could the unison-gtk package please provide /usr/bin/unison alternative so it works out of the box? I understand the unison package provides /usr/bin/unison alternative, however I don't want to install this additional package since unison-gtk works fine as a server and even includes the text interface with the -text argument.
