Im not shure if it is a joke that such messages occur more than a year after the case was opened (and nothing happened). A little bit too late, wouldn't You say? As far as I recollect, I have used a tarball where one or more source files are soft linked into the source tree (dpatch v1.24 for example). If You change such files, dpatch has problems to compute the corect patch because it trys to patch the source file several times (one for the original and one for each link). Sorry, that I can't give more informations any more. I'm no longer interested in dpatch. -- Best Regards Sven Gohlke GnuPG Fingerprint: 15AC 90F9 3BDD 6FF1 546C 3DB1 350F F177 8BFA F468 at hkp://wwwkeys.pgp.net
