Yeah, obviously, I won't stop everything that is writing to my $HOME to do backups. the dar backend hence is braindead as it stopped the backup !?
Indeed that's a pretty anoying bug. It has already been reported though, hence the merge.
I'm going to look if BM can tell to archivers to ignore such errors, that would be the best thing to do to me.
In the meantime, tou can workaround the problem by blacklisting your "volatile" loaction in your home directroy. Most of the time those files that change oftenly are not the ones you care.
