One more update on the subject. I have downloaded the newest perl-tk from CPAN. $CPAN/authors/id/S/SR/SREZIC/Tk-804.027_500.tar.gz (see announcement in the perl-tk newsgroups, msg id [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I have compiled it, and now it seems to be rock solid, all the previous problems disappeared.
