Package: compiz-core Version: 0.3.6-1 Severity: normal Blender is next to useless when run with Compiz. It doesn't get window decorations (when run in windowed mode) and when you try to interact with the window, all clicks go "through" the window and activates what is below the blender window, for example the gnome panel.
This behavior also happens when run full screen, and with the unredirect_fullscreen_windows option activated. Other OpenGL applications display similar weird behavior when not run in fullscreen. They don't get repainted when dragged, they also leave images behind (it's possible to "paint" with a dragged window). I have no idea if this is related to the problems with Blender. If it's not clear what I mean, I can provide screenshots. I'm not sure if this is a problem with Compiz, AIGLX, Blender, or something else so please reassign this bug if needed. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-686 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages compiz-core depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-11 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 6.5.2-3 A free implementation of the OpenG ii libice6 1:1.0.1-2 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libpng12-0 1.2.15~beta5-1 PNG library - runtime ii libsm6 1:1.0.1-3 X11 Session Management library ii libstartup-notification0 0.8-2 library for program launch feedbac ii libx11-6 2:1.1.1-1 X11 client-side library ii libxcomposite1 1:0.3.1-1 X11 Composite extension library ii libxdamage1 1:1.0.3-3 X11 damaged region extension libra ii libxext6 1:1.0.3-1 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxfixes3 1:4.0.1-5 X11 miscellaneous 'fixes' extensio ii libxinerama1 1:1.0.1-4.1 X11 Xinerama extension library ii libxrandr2 2:1.1.0.2-5 X11 RandR extension library ii mesa-utils 6.5.2-3 Miscellaneous Mesa GL utilities Versions of packages compiz-core recommends: ii compiz-plugins 0.3.6-1 OpenGL window and compositing mana -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
