I have updated apt-proxy to 1.9.35-0.2 but aptitude still shows http://127.0.0.1 etch Release.gpg [ERROR] Connection failed
and http://127.0.0.1 etch/updates Release.gpg [ERROR] Connection failed then all other lists provided by the apt-proxy are ignored, and any downloads are made from regular mirrors over the internet. Similar results are obtained when accessing the apt-proxy from other local boxes running etch. I have checked the configuration files and tried stopping and restarting aptitude and re-trying aptitude u (update) to ensure that the apt-proxy files could be updated. The Release.gpg files in the apt-proxy cache do appear to have been updated recently, but not made available when requested. Aptitude warns that the apt-proxy may be corrupt, but is able to download files, if the apt-proxy is the only source listed in /etc/apt/sources.list Local boxes that are still running sarge seem to be working normally. -- Chris Bell -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
