Package: debianutils Version: 2.8.4 Severity: wishlist
In /etc/X11/gdm/Xsession and /etc/X11/Xsession there is some scripting designed to list run-parts style scripts in a directory that need to be sourced. Next to this code is the following comment; # until run-parts --noexec is implemented The scripts need to be sourced, not executed, because they rely on and set environment variables that are not exported. It looks like lessdisks will also need this functionality, and I'm sure others could benefit from it. It is possible to use --test to list the scripts and source them in a for loop, but --noexec would be nicer. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (200, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.26-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages debianutils depends on: ii coreutils 5.2.1-2 The GNU core utilities ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
