Package: libc6 Version: 2.3.6.ds1-11 Severity: normal While compiling applications which use sysctl syscall I get warning:
warning: the `sysctl' syscall has been removed from 2.6.18+ kernels, direct access to `/proc/sys' should be used instead. This is NOT true. 'sysctl' syscall will stay in the kernel. Yes, there was discussion about removal, but it was pulled back after short discussion. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.20 Locale: LANG=et_EE.iso8859-15, LC_CTYPE=et_EE.iso8859-15 (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages libc6 depends on: ii tzdata 2007a-3 Time Zone and Daylight Saving Time libc6 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
