I did not generate the videos, but I think they were generated with Blender CVS (even the screen captures, by resaving via Blender). I have heard Blender people have issues with 16 or 8 pixels too, but no idea if same type or if they can have a fix for 2.43, as it is near release. See files, no magic, you could had generated one yourself, just set output to be AVI jpeg in the selector and render.
