The current version in sarge creates the links, because I've
recreated the problem by pinging machines back and forth between
having exim and courier installed. I don't know what the original
version installed was - these machines were mostly transitioned to
Exim long before I took them on a month or so ago, and I suspect my
predecessor cleaned most of them up by hand.
