Hey Paul, The machine was really frozen, but now i changed the graphics controller, and mixxx doesn't freeze the system any more. I don't know whether it was the hardware (Matrox G400 DH) or whether the xorg mga driver is broken, but at least now with a geforce 4 TI and the proprietary nvidia x-driver it doesn't freeze any longer. > > I don't know whether this bug is related to the amd64 architecture, or > > to my Matrox G450 graphics controller, so i set severity to grave. > > mixxx could also be improved substantially on the graphic rendering > side, and this bug is important. Do you think that the bug should be kept open then? Maybe just rename it to 'improve the graphic rendering' and downgrade severity to wishlist? > it would also be useful to know if other applications using 3d > acceleration are working fine on your machine. This finally was the point where i got that something needs to be wrong with my hardware/xdriver. Every single application with 3d acceleration froze my system. btw: Do you already work on debian packages for mixxx 1.5.0? greetings jonas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
