My suggestion is that you do the following first:

1. Answer my question (some posts ago): Where can I configure which fonts 
gnucash uses? I really like to change that because they are much too large.

2. Break the secret what (correct) font you are using and we should configure.

3. Change the default font for the debian gnucash package to the correct font.

4. Send a screenshot.
