reopen 379628 found 1.13.1-6 thanks I'm sorry to reopen this bug, but this problem happened again on my d-i test environment.
[Test environment] - Windows Vista Ultimate (MSDN) on VMware i386 (1024MB memory) 18GB sda (SCSI LSI53C1030 emulation) and filled by Vista as /dev/sda1 - netinst.iso Debian GNU/Linux testing "Etch" - Official Snapshot i386 NETINST Binary-1 20070209-21:47 includes ntfsprogs-udeb_1.13.1-6_i386.udeb - Removed "exit 1" from partman resize.sh to skip Vista-check. - Booted installer and tried resizing sda1 from 18GB to 10GB on partman menu. [Result] It made corrutpted NTFS filesystem. I can't boot/mount/read Windows no more. Rebooting doesn't help it. [Log] ...
