strace -o /some/file -f iceape, reproduce your bug and send us this
/some/file (compressed would be better ;) ) ?
Not necessary, because now it works. So it's either some black magic or
I just haven't restarted iceape in ages (or at least the last time the
apt-get upgrade command upgraded it). So I think you can close this bug.
