It seems that there is a new version avaiable at [1] (the page is available only in Portuguese). Download link to the file is at [2]. This version of aspell-pt-br available on Debian is a version from 2002! Would be good to have this new version (20070206) available on Debian (this new version is derived from the dictionary of the brazilian OpenOffice.org (BrOffice.org)).
