Hi,

I created a symlink and it's working now ( called dirty patch :) ).

I've got only original deb packages, the problem that I mean is, that it seems as k3b searches in /usr/bin/X11 for it, but Debian is using /usr/bin for his binarys.

This could confuse beginners.

I wanted to burn a video-dvd, but it fails, because k3b searches in the wrong path for the tool genisoimage.

genisoimage is located in /usr/bin as dpkg -l genisoimage says.

Hi Patrick,

If you go into K3b's configuration and look at the external programs config,
I suspect that /usr/bin/X11/genisoimage is the default one for mkisofs. It
should have a green arrow next to it.

What if you make /usr/bin/genisoimage the default instead? Do you get the
same problems?

Francois
