It says apt-get upgrade - I assume you really meant apt-get dist-upgrade? Upgrade won't install new packages. dist-upgrade installed Claws Mail fine. It removed sylpheed-claws-gtk2, and installed dummy versions of sylpheed-claws-gtk2-cache-saver, sylpheed-claws-gtk2-dillo-viewer, and sylpheed-claws-gtk2-i18n. I can reproduce the crash there too.
