I've just tested this with the new 2.2-01-1 release that was uploaded to unstable some hours ago and it seems to be fixed. When I enter "bla" in the DOI field and then right-click on the column and choose "Open URL or DOI" my browser goes to http://dx.doi.org/bla Could you please check this too?
