Hi Jeremy! The new version is good news - i loved to see that bug #361860 finally is gone! About the UI stuff: I used to use "tabbed mode" instead of IDEA mode. AFAICS, this mode has gone and everyone has to cope with IDEA now. If that's true, the bug is gone with the tabbed mode. IDEA seems to be restoring it's settings well.
