Package: discover
Version: 2.1.1-2
Severity: normal

Hi!

The current version of discover is not able to detect the graphic card in my
virtual machine:

lspci -v

00:0f.0 VGA compatible controller: VMware Inc [VMware SVGA II] PCI Display
Adapter (prog-if 00 [VGA])
Subsystem: VMware Inc [VMware SVGA II] PCI Display Adapter
        Flags: medium devsel
        I/O ports at 1460 [size=16]
        Memory at f0000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=128M]
        Memory at ec000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=8M]
[virtual] Expansion ROM at 30010000 [disabled] [size=32K]

lspci -vn

00:0f.0 0300: 15ad:0405 (prog-if 00 [VGA])
        Subsystem: 15ad:0405
        Flags: medium devsel
        I/O ports at 1460 [size=16]
        Memory at f0000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=128M]
        Memory at ec000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=8M]
[virtual] Expansion ROM at 30010000 [disabled] [size=32K]

I tried to discover the card by invoking:
discover --data-path=xfree86/server/device/driver display
to update my xorg.conf, but this does not work any longer.

regards,
Jörg
