tag 408636 + moreinfo thanks Please provide a bootlog of the failure with Debian's 2.6.18-9 (or -10, if its available). As Martin noted, Debian and Ubuntu's kernels are significantly different, so if you haven't tested a recent Debian kernel it is worth doing so. If you cannot do so (or don't care to do so, because you plan to run Ubuntu anyway), please let us know so that we can close this bug.
