Package: nbd-server Followup-For: Bug #317888 as far as i can tell(i.e. i am using it regularly), nbd-server *does* work from openbsd-inetd using port 0. at least version 1:2.8.7-3 of nbd-server does. so i think this bug can be closed, unless there's some strange behavior that causes xinetd to fail.
there is a wrapper script around nbd-server we inlude with ltsp which is run using port 0 to dynamically create and destroy nbd files as needed. live well, vagrant -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-3-vserver-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages nbd-server depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.11 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libglib2.0-0 2.12.4-2 The GLib library of C routines nbd-server recommends no packages. -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
