I would like to suggest that you include the following script in the duplicity documentation (under /usr/share/doc/duplicity/examples) to provide an example of how one can use duplicity to backup an entire system every night. I personally use this script on multiple machines and I have the following cronjobs: cron.daily: backup-script without any arguments cron.weekly: backup-script --full It needs to be adapted to each machine, but it's probably a good starting point for someone wanting to do the same thing as me.
