Do you still have your old ~/.mozilla around, so that it may be possible to understand what was going wrong. It you don't I'm afraid I'll have no other choice than closing this bug, as all I can guess is that it was something related to a fucked up chrome in /usr/lib/iceape, which has been fixed in newer versions.
