I'm not using this package on Debian and there seems to be not much interest in it, so I'm switching this over to an RFP. I am still working on a splatd package for Ubuntu, and the most recent version of that (as of now) can be found here: http://revu.tauware.de/ details.py?upid=4198. Someone is welcome to take that package and try to get it to work on Debian; it should require a minimal amount of work.
