no, I always use sid, I switch back to xfce some days ago (you know
kde is too slow and icewm is too simple)

Hm, yeah, sorry. (may I ask why it's on hold ?) Do you have any artefact
of 4.2 install ? Do you have a .gtkrc-2.0 on your home folder ?
I hold almost all packages (I only want to specify which package to
upgrade to save network and CPU).
what's the meaning of artefact? but "$ dpkg -l | grep xf | grep 4\\.2"

yes, but i still can reproduce this bug after I remove it and restart
xfce from the panel.
