Hello, Thomas. Michael Tokarev, the author of udns requested me to exclude udns from Debian Etch, since he claims it is not stable API yet, and should not be distributed in a system like Debian right now.
I think udns is great software and useful enough to deserve distribution, although no other software in Debian depends on it yet. Unless he says that he is OK in keeping it in Debian (he has not answered my reply to him yet), I will request tomorrow the removal of udns from Debian Etch. Perhaps, I will maintain it on experimental. OT: Hope we can meet sometime. I need to stop working and studying this much and go back to hack a little more on Hurd.
