First, I WILL deal with all issues reported as good as possible ...
at some point. The more you help, the better I can do that.

Second, it still makes sense to post it here:

 + from time to time I review wishlist bugs and try to implement
   those I find most important on my own. If I cannot implement them,
   I will look-up the current state at upstream and bug them if
   necessary/suitable.
 + the better a bug is documented the easier for me to work on it at
   that point.
 + other users might get the proper path to the upstream bug in order 
   to bug on their own.

So, by contributing to this bug you show me that its important to you
and I am more likely willing to consider your feature request as
"important" the next time I review wishlist bugs.
