Package: cron Version: 3.0pl1-99 Followup-For: Bug #76625 Neither do I get any message in /var/log/syslog nor an email (which I would prefer to get) sent to root when cron restarts... either the message log bug wasn't corrected well or there was a regression of some kind, but anyway, having a line not ending with a CR or nothing is the same.
This is important to me, and looks like a regression so will raise the severity.
