Package: sylpheed-claws-gtk2 Version: 2.6.0-1 I'm a first time user of Sylpheed-Claws, so when I first started it, it presented me with the setup wizard. I have to use ssh tunnelling to get to my mail servers, so they don't appear to be on standard ports. There is no way to properly enter this information in the wizard, but i tried entering localhost:1993. (I'm using port 1993 to forward to port 993 on the real server)
After going through the wizard, and hitting 'Save' to continue, Sylpheed-Claws started up, and I was presented with a window saying it was unable to connect to localhost:1993:993, and that I would need to reconfigure the plugin. At that point, Sylpheed-Claws closed, presumably because there were no available mailboxes. When I started Sylpheed-Claws again, the setup wizard presented itself again, and I elected to setup a local mailbox, so that I could configure my real mailbox from the primary setup dialogs that I assumed, correctly, would let me set the ports. It would be useful if the wizard offered port settings, or determined them from the hostname if present, and if Sylpheed-Claws would stay open even if it does not have a mailbox.
