Right, I don't think we want to try to make udev co-installable with hotplug
at this point.

But there are users who apparently still use hotplug instead of udev on
their systems, which to me is sufficient to downgrade this bug.

Perhaps the package should be removed post-etch, but that should primarily
be up to the maintainer.

I just meant information about whether there are still valid use cases for
hotplug, and apparently there are.

The Debian reference should be updated, at least.  Do you have a pointer to
