OT: thanks for the tip, although I fear that in my particular case (UTF-8), it won't be easy to get a zsh behaving nicely with multi-bytes chars, or does zsh now support multi-bytes charsets (for example backspace on a multi-byte char won't move the cursor two positions left)?
